More portraits! 
(I need to stop doing these and draw something that goes further down than the neck. XD)
A young-ish, definitely pre-Thangorodrim Maedhros, probably as a newly come-of-age prince in Valinor. I had a LOT of fun with this- it's a combination of traditional and digital that I definitely hadn't tried before. The lineart is pencil, which I colorized to a coppery color and colored digitally in GIMP with a variety of techniques and lots of messing with opacity. XD Played with some textures in my shading as well as in the background, and with a generally subtler use of colors and shading than my traditional work. Definitely want to color like this again, really like the result.
And yep, the freckles return. Deal.
Used one of `hibbary's paper textures, though it's so buried you can barely tell. XD Found here- [link]
