Alright, rant time. So yeah, two of my guy friends (they're both here on DA, but I think they'd like their privacy) had been dating for about a week. One knows he's bi, other one is pretty sure he is. Neither of them have told their parents because of their parents' beliefs/opinions, even though they're both the type of people that everyone has called gay for years anyways. So, the second one...apparently, his mom took his cell phone and went through his text messages, and found out. And pulled the same bullshit on her poor kid that pisses me off probably more than anything else in the entire world.
Yeah. The whole "oh, you're only gay because people tell you that you are and you
believe them." And the "it's just a temporary state of mind, you'll get over it" bullshit. GOD I hate that. Not to mention that he's pretty much not allowed to see or even speak to his now ex-boyfriend outside of school. He called me about it, and his mother wouldn't even let him talk to
me once she found out he was on the phone.
It's not even like the kid's doing anything wrong. He's not drinking or doing drugs or staying out late or disobeying his parents at
all. Not to mention, he loves Jesus so much that he got offended by my silly picture of Thor calling Jesus a bitch. I mean, compared to me, the kid's practically a saint (not that I drink or do drugs or anything, but still). And they're still doing this to him. He doesn't deserve it.
It pisses me off so much I can't stand it.
